Well, this is pretty smart. This $4 adapter is called the USB 360º Adapter and has the potential for curing many a headache. The swiveling, 360 degree action allows you to connect stuff to your USB ports, without obstructing the adjacent ones.
It supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 and the connection is Type A Male to Type A Female
