Motorola and Skyworks Sign Development Agreem… November 28, 2005
Motorola, Inc. and Skyworks Solutions, Inc. announced a development agreement that would allow production of complete EDGE radios based on Skyworks” Helios DigRF Radio solution. The new chipset will be designed to support next-generation mobile handsets featuring high-speed Web browsing, music downloads and streaming video and would be Skyworks” first solution to deliver transceiver functionality for Motorola wireless devices, creating an opportunity for Skyworks to more than double its addressable semiconductor content per mobile handset.
